Logistics & Order Office Manager
Sonitor is seeking a Logistics & Order Office Manager who will be responsible for managing all aspects of purchasing, production planning and scheduling, inventory as well as in- and outgoing shipments.

The responsibilities of the Logistics and Order Office Manager are focused on the design and implementation of strategies and plans which enable Sonitor to meet the requirements of the short- and long-term supply chain management and production control requirements.

 

Position Responsibilities

The Logistics & Order Office Manager oversees all supply chain operations, including the purchasing and inventory of materials through a selection of vendors. She or he will Implement a fully functional supply chain management/production control infrastructure, and maintain the accuracy of data in the MRP/ERP system (input and issuance from inventory, labor reporting, startup of RFQ and quoting modules, etc.).


The Logistics & Order Office Manager works closely with the executive management team to ensure that the finished goods inventory meets forecasted demands.

 

Other tasks are:

  • Coordination of logistics and distribution.
  • Preparing the shipment of goods and managing the receipt of incoming deliveries.
  • Making recommendations to improve the overall productivity, quality, and efficiency of Sonitor’s logistical operations.
  • Interacting with customers to ensure that all requirements are being met, and order demands are being fulfilled.
  • Managing and directing the work of outsourced contract manufacturers. 

 

Education and experience

It is expected that applicants have the following education and experience:

  • A bachelors degree.
  • Between five and seven years production control/supply chain management experience.
  • Experience with purchasing, expediting, MRP/ ERP systems, quality/continuous improvement initiatives, manufacturing safety practices and MS Office applications.

Knowledge of electronics and electronic components is an advantage.
