Erik Hardeng


As senior engineer at Kitron, Erik Hardeng is responsible for development work on different electronic, radio and ultrasound-based systems. Kitron is one of Scandinavia's leading companies in the development and manufacturing of electronics for medical, defence/marine, data/telecom, and process industries.

Erik Hardeng's main fields of competence are acoustics, electronics, radio frequency identification (RFID), and tag and detector communication.

Erik Hardeng has a Master of telecommunications degree from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

  Dr. Ole B. Hovind

Jens Martin Hovem


Jens Martin Hovem is a professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, faculty of information technology and electrical engineering, acoustics group. He has long experience in the developments of subsea acoustics.

He also has an adjunct position as Scientist Advisor to the Norwegian Defence Research Institute, mainly working on low frequency propagation studies.

Jens Martin Hovem has a PhD in communication theory from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Odd Kr. Pettersen


Odd Kr. Pettersen is Research Director at SINTEF and Adjunct Professor at the Norwegian University of Science and Technology, Faculty of information technology and electrical engineering, acoustics group. He is author of a long list of publications and lectures concerning acoustics.

Odd Kr. Pettersen has a PhD in telecommunications from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Lars Øberg


Lars Øberg has broad management experience from research and industry, including from EB and ABB, 10 years as CEO for Iplast ASA and VP of Mikron AG. He is a successful entrepreneur, and currently runs his own business LOC AS.

Lars Øberg is Master of Science in Applied Physics from the Norwegian University of Science and Technology.

Lars Øberg is also a member of Sonitor's Board of Directors.
