As part of commitment, company moves headquarters to Stamford, CT and appoints President and CEO for the Americas
Stamford, CT, (January 27, 2014) Sonitor Technologies, Inc., the technology leaders in Real Time Locating Systems (RTLS) in healthcare, today announced it will expand its sales and service operations in the U.S. As part of this commitment the company has moved its headquarters to Stamford. Research and development will remain in Oslo, Norway. Anne M. Bugge, a medical technology company veteran, will oversee the expansion as Sonitor’s Technologies President and Chief Executive Officer for the Americas.
“This move is important for the company since the largest and fastest growing RTLS market is in the United States. Sonitor needs to be ever more close to the U.S. hospital market, and responsive to our growing customer base and partners here,” asserted Bugge. “By expanding our talented team and continuing to deliver the most advanced RTLS technology solutions to help hospitals reduce operating costs and improve patient security and safety, the company is positioned for rapid and sustainable growth.”
Bugge brings to Sonitor more than 20 years of experience in administrative, marketing and executive leadership positions for respected healthcare technology companies including ATL Ultrasound and SonoSite. She played a pivotal role as a member of the executive teams at each in developing the companies into esteemed market leaders and increasing shareholder value.
